Welcome to our Housing Portal of Hochschule Worms!

The International Center can assist you in finding an accommodation in Worms. However, due to the large number of international  students and the limited number of offers, we are only able to offer our accommodation service on a first-come-first-serve-basis. Please be aware, that our capacity of rooms is limited. The International Center acts as an intermediary between you and the landlord/landlady. The details regarding the rental contract etc. are to be discussed directly with your landlord/landlady.

How to access the housing portal?

Please click this link https://www.hs-worms.de/index.php?id=4858&no_cache=1  where you can download our data protection regulation document (GDPR) and our housing rules. Please read both documents carefully. Additionally, please send us copies of your enrollment certificate of the Hochschule Worms and of your Visa. All the documents need to be signed by you and sent as soon as possible in one email to housing@hs-worms.de.

Only if we receive all of this documents from you, you are allowed to access our housing portal.

How to use the portal?

As soon as you access our portal, you will find under “Accommodation” our housing offers for you. You can apply filters to your search depending on your needs (e.g. single room or apartment, room size, rent).

In general, three different types of accommodations are offered:

Single rooms: rooms within a shared flat, with shared kitchen and bathroom. Some rooms are only for female and some only for male students. This will be mentioned in the room description.

Single apartments: studio apartment for one person, with a small kitchen and bathroom.

Twin rooms: can be reserved by two students, which means that you will share the room with somebody else. If you know already the person, you want to share the room with, we request both of you to send an email to housing@hs-worms.de with your information. (the rent and deposit are per student). Please note that the rent and deposit shown in the room description are per student. These rooms are within a shared flat as well.

How to reserve a room bindingly?

Please note, that you can only make one request at a time.
Please also note, that once you requested a room, you cannot cancel your request to continue browsing. You will only be able to look for another room, if your first request is not successful.

After requesting the room you will not receive any automatic response until we work on your request which can happen only on work days (Monday - Friday), so don't panic if it takes some time.

When you request a certain room, we will check on your request as soon as possible (normally within 1-2 work days) and inform you per email if your reservation was successful.

In that case, please log in again and click on the button accommodations. There you can see the room you reserved. Furthermore you will find a button, which is called "documents". There you can download your letter off accommodation, where you can find all details summarized incl. the contact details of your landlord/landlady.

In case your requested room is, unfortunatel,y not available anymore please request another one as soon as possible.

Please be aware of the fact, that all offered accommodations cannot be rented longer than the first two semesters.
